What is the best 3inch suspension lift for the 2002 trd? Also what is the biggest tire size and width of rim you can get with out ANY rubbing. This includes haveing the wheel cranked in reverse. Any help would be great.

Chris, I just put a 3" Revtek lift (less than $500) on my '01 ext. cab TRD 4x4. I went with 33x11.5R16 (285/75R16) BFG AT'S on American Racing (AR) 16x8 rims, and guess what, they rub pretty hard at the bottom of the front bumper's plastic molding. Also, I had to take the middle screw out of the front mud flaps. No big deal, but now they are a little loose. Don't let people tell you they won't rub, I made the mistake of everyone saying they SHOULDN'T rub. I'd say your best best is 32x11.5R16. And stay away from the 15 inch rims, I know there less expensive and tires are cheaper, but down the road, you'll experience significant break problems. As far as the lift goes, it's a very sound simple spacer kit that fits on top of your front coil springs and 3" blocks in the rear. This kit allows you to use the factory front coil springs and shocks, but you will have to replace the rear shocks with longer ones. Good luck and feel free to email me if you have any more questions. kraigwilson@yahoo.com
