Does anyone know how to reset an air bag warning light? If so please e-mail me. Also, I am looking for an exhaust system for my 2001 Tacoma 4x4 with a 3.4. I'm looking to get a deep tone instead of the rice rocket sound. Thank You

If your light just stays on, while driving, you might want to check to make sure the plug, that goes into the passenger shut-off key switch, if connected. This might meann about four screws, and some brute force and ignorance, but you will get there pretty quickly. If you havn't recently put a new stereo in, i dont thnk this would be the problem.

Do you guys know where the noise is coming from? Try putting on some belt dressing on your belt and see if the noise goes away. You can pick belt dressing at any Auto store for about 3 bucks it comes in a spraying. Spray the belt while the 4runner is on but be careful. If the noise goes away most likely it’s the pulleys. What the Toyota techs did was SIMMED THE TENSION PULLEYs to bring them into alignment with the other pulleys. I know that some or all 2003 V6 4runners are having this problem. Have them call the Toyota techs because they are aware of this problem. I hope this helps you guys because this fixed the noise that I was having on my 4runners. Good luck and keep us updated on what happens.

matt soja at 6/10/2003 1:01:18 PM Jay - was flipping thru this message string (i've got the same problem with a 2003 v-6 4 runner. just wanted to verify what exactly the fix was for the fluttering noise was so i can mention it to the mechanic over here (which pulley)? thanks ------------ Jay at 6/5/2003 6:25:12 PM

Toyota techs fixed the problem with the belt. Truck purrs now yahooo. They shimmed the pulley. . They said that they have applied this fix to a few vehicles in So. California also and it has been working. Plus they want me to call them in a month and let then know if it’s working because if this work they are going to redesign a new pulley.
