I figure i would just start a build thread on what i was doing to my truck instead of a bunch of little topics just have on big one.  Any input would be great.  Pictures are soon to come.

Since i have stop being a minis to society and started spending a little more time in my garage i decided it would be a good time to fix all the hillybilly engineering i have done on my truck.  This week i ran into a couple of guys one guy who is in charge of the ZUK melt in indiana its a big suzuki get together put on at the badlands and we found common ground talking about trucks.  he said he had meat RICK Webster and has seen his site.  This guy really impacted me to get my truck back together and start wheeling agian since i havent wheeled in probably over a year.  Heres the plan.

The truck is a 87 toyota pickup.  It has an allpro flatbed comploments of this websit thank you RICK.  In the flatbed there is a BLUETORCH fuel cell also comploments to this website once agian thanks RICK.  These are the real first true upgrades that were made to my truck and actually got me started in wheeling.  I have a standard toyota 8" axle with a lock right locker in the rear of my truck.  The front has been converted to a solid toyota 85 8" axle open at teh minute.  Both axles are stuffed with 5.29s gears.  The Front is running a cross over steering 1.5" wheel spacers with garbiel shocks and allpro shock hoops.  The supsension a combo from all pro with 4" leafs up front and 5" leafs in the rear.  The wheel base has been stretched to 106"s and the the whole truck is running on 35" walmart mudders all i could aford at the time.  The engine was rebuil a couple of years ago its a standard 22r carburated toyota which is reliable but not the most proven on the steep bouncy hill climbs where speed and power is needed.  The trans is stock toyota five speed which is in deirer needed of the a shifter rebuild.  The T case is a stock toyota with a 5:1 kit crammedin it with a 21 spline out put forward shift.  The brakes have been upgraded to toyota vented rotors 4 piston calipers and no porportioning valve to help the rear drums actually stop.  The interior is a combo of junk yard seats out of a cavaleir and a ammon can i found and thought would be a perfect center concel.  Thats pretty much it besides the most reliable battery money can by an optima.

The plan.  Fix all the oil leaks from the front bifrs to the leaking trans and t case and the rear third.  Switch the body as to when i was young i thought that body damage and trail rash were battle scars and cool but not so much anymore i think it would be just an neat to have a clean body so i purchased a 86 toyota body for 100 dollars with no real damage but hail damage from me letting it sit out side when i first got it.  Going to add alot of body protection from rock sliders to hopefully a nice exocage but needs to be clean and tight.  The cage will tie into the rear flat bed that was reviewed by allpro and once agian thanks to Rick Webster.  A new front bumper is in order with a stinger i will try and make my self as to now my fabrication skills have become alot better.  The rear locker will be taken out and put up front and the front third will be welded and put in the rear.  This will probably make me need new axles so longfields are in the future.  As in the other thread i will be doing hydraulic assit steering the parts came today just trying to map it out.  The interior will get a slew of gages cheapest i can find being i am still doing this on a college student budget.  To finish it off i would like to add a t case doubler.  Thats about it.

if anyone knows where cheap parts are let me know would be a great help.  Thanks and feel free to critque my work cause i am in no way a proffesional fabricatior.  Here are some pics as it sits now.

Yea i got some Picutres i need to post them its been awhile since i worked on it do to school. I actually wheeled the truck with the hydraulic assit steering and it was amazing. At this point in time the 22re fuel injected motor is sitting between the rails. The wiring is laid out but i have ran into harness issure since i got a motor that uses a different wiring harness then the one i got. The next step i am at is getting the motor running then hopefully setting the body back on. Before all of that the frame is do for some paint as with the bed. I tubing bender is in the near future.

Calling is a SOS i got really mad at the 22re 4cyl motor the other day and in my rage i looked in the back of the garage and saw the old 94 4.3 CPI motor i pulled out of my dads old blazer. I has been sitting for awhile now but is in great condition with the harness moslty there. I really NEED the wiring digrams for the ECM and motor if any one has them laying around or can get them it would be much apprecitated. Now that i have taken a different turn in this project i could use some chevy advice on the wiring.

A little update since i have now graduated college i have found a little more time to do some work here is where it sets. The truck now has a Dana 60 front end under it. A set of 37" military tires on hummer beadlocks. A dana 60 rearend out back. The 4.3 and 700r4 are a waiting the dana 300 that is being shipped in from newyork to be twin sticked. So the truck is completely dedicated to wheeling now. With hyrdaulic assit steering welded front and rear diffs and 5.38 gears to becoming. soon
