They'll fit but your speedometer will be out a bit, also the BFG's 265/75/16 are narrower than the stock 265/70/16's. If I were you I'd forget about the BFG Mud's and get the BFG All-Terrain's. BFG offer's the proper 265/70/16 you need. I had a pair put on my 2002 Taco 4X4 and they're great. I live in the great white north of Canada and they provide better traction in snow than any mud terrain would. I've also used them in the mud and they provide pretty good traction, never been stuck. Unless you are going to do some serious mudding I would forget about the mudders. You could only do serious mudding if you got a lift anyway. If you are like me and drive street 90% of the time with the occasional trip into the wild the all-terrains are the way to go. |

With all do respect, the 265/75/16's are not narrower, but they may appear that way since the side wall is simply a little taller. That's what accounts for the extra inch in circumference. And I had the AT's on my '01. They rub the wheel well slightly next to the cab when turning sharply, but will not cause any harm whatsoever. The AT's are great tires w/ great traction and little noise on the road, but the Mud Terrains are the best for a full purpose off-road truck.
