My wife has a '95 4Runner. Best vehicle we ever owned. It now has 160,000 miles on it and I am having trouble with the 4 wheel drive. When engaged it seems like only one wheel is locking in. It does not have lockout hubs, only the shifter on the floor (it is a 3.0 stick shift also). When you drive in 4 wheel hi it feels like it wants to fishtail. If you stomp the gas it pulls to the right. If you let off the gas it goes toward the left. This was in deep snow. I tried it on wet slushy roads and it has a kind of pulsing which seems to come from the passanger front wheel. Can anyone tell me what the problem is or how to find it?
