I have an '89 (old body) 22r, brakes doing something I can't figure out. After driving awhile/ at high speeds, the brakes seem to begin to drag a bit - front ones as far as I can tell. Pedal gets very stiff, but car stops fine - as if the travel distance has cut in half. I've flushed the entire system, and replaced the front calipers/pads, and rears shoes/ kits. Just replaced power brake booster with one from a junked '87... this made it much less obvious (meaning I can now get above 65 MPH, and brakes don't smoke), but this is prob b/c the pushrod going into the master cylinder wasn't quite as long. I'm baffled. Anybody have any suggestions for what could be causing this? Any ideas welcome!
