| Iv'e got a 4x4 v-6&5-spdw trd option.the push button for locker reads"rrlocking diff".Ive heard, that by grounding the grey wire a guy can make the locker work in 2wd,which is desireable here in Coos Bay,as we have an off-roading park known as the oregon dunes.I remember seeing the article on this site,butSOME_BUDDY blanked all previous entries out when they updated the site settings.thanks for any help that may be provided.G.G |

Greg,
I'll try and pull up the old database tonight for the old forums and see if I can get the information. If not, I should be able to do it this weekend.

Greasy... I found a full set of instructions and photos on how to perform your "Grey Wire" modification to turn on your e-Locker while in two wheel drive.
Take your browser to: http://www.tn-ttora.com/newsite/mods/TacomaGrayWireLockerMod.html
Hope this helps!

| One of our techs at the dealership just used one in his front of his mini truck, and eliminated the computer altogether. I can get you the wiring diagram if you want it. :) |
