Lexus and Toyota have just issued a TSB for Excessive sulfur Dioxide Odor or the rotten egg smell. It involves recalibrating the ECM and replacing the cat. converter. The whole job takes about 4 hours and according to the GX 470 owners on Clublexus the fix works. Currently the NHTSA website has the TSB for the GX 470 TSB #004-04 or NHTSA item number 10007092. I found the 4 Runner TSB on the Tundra Solutions site TSB # is 015-04. It won't be long before this TSB is added on the NHTSA site.
