Hey all, I have a quandry. When we bought our family truckster early this summer gas was around 1.80 a gallon. Now that gas regularly hits nearly twice that amount I want something else to haul the family around in since our Ram gets 10.5 MPG. So I am on the prowl for a small SUV about 5 or 7 years old. I think I have it narrowed down to a late model ZJ (96-98) or a late 90's 4Runner. I like the looks of both and they are both very capable off road. I might even consider turning whatever I buy into a trail rig so I want to bake that option into the decision. Both are great vehicles and I have read nearly everything there is to read on the net about both of them but I still cant decide which way to lean. Do any of you have any thoughts or advice?
