| 4 cill, awsom little truck, ive only hade ot 4 one week and I allready went 4 wheeling, it handles it self like a god, i am surprised, lots of POWER!!!1! |

| you have the 22re and if it is just a little whistle then i am pretty sure thats normal with that throttle body but dont hold me to it. yea there great trucks i am in the process of redoin mine right now. they will go any where cause they have such a good wheel base. |

The guy before you may have installed a throttle body spacer kit on the engine to boost power. They work incredibly well, but some are noisier than others.
Does it sound a bit like a turbo? At idle, it whistles, and if you bump the gas the pitch goes up a bit, then disappates? If so, my guess would be a throttle body spacer.
It can also be an EGR valve.
