the dealer mechanic told me regular power programers wear out sensors becouse it doan't moniter them. So he told me to get a chip or a reprogrammed computer module but where can i get one

For any of us to help, we'll need to know the year, make and model of your truck. Also, need to know what engine it has.

I don't know if it would wear out sensors, but power programmers help unleash hidden HP and torque. I programmer usually does the following Remove Speed Limiters Raise Rev Limiters Change Tire/Wheel Size Ratios Change Gear Ratios Move Transmission Shift Points Increase/Reduce Transmission Shift Pressure 87/93 Fuel Octane Changes

And you can always go back and change the settings back to factory. I'm assuming you have a 96 chevy from your name. Hypertech makes programmers for that year for a 4.3, 5.0, 5.7, and 7.4. Check it out hope it helps.

If it's not GM, I don't want it.
