For Christmas I am customizing my 1997 Ext. Cab Z71 Chevy. I want more lift on the ride; however, I do not want to worsen the factory ride. I have heard of several options: spindles, torsion bars, and body lifts. etc. ? I want the maximum lift without adjusting the ride of the truck.
I also want more sound from my exhaust. What's the difference between headers and glasspacks? I want a deep sound but then again I want it loud. I want the most impresive truck at school. Thanks for your advice and time.

david,
for the best sound get headers AND glasspacks. not only will the headers add to the sound they will give you more performance out of your engine. also for lift go for the suspension lift from rancho if you can afford it . it wont make the ride to unbearable. good luck

------------
Header are the pipes that come directly our of the engine. Glasspacks are the substitute for mufflers in many exuast systems. They do work better together. You should look through the diffrent types and prices and choose the one you want. Hedman Headers are some of the best. If you want a lift that will give you better ride quality than stock get a Rough Country. It will amaze you how good it rides. You will have the badest ride in school. |
