| I plan on putting a 3 inch body on my 2000 Z71 and I was wondering just how much tire I can get under my truck. Also, will I be able to put 16x10's on it or will I have to go with 16x8's. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanx |

YOU SHOULD GO WITH 16X10" RIMS. IF YOU GO LESS THAN THAT THE TIRES WILL LOOK WIERD BECAUSE THE RIMS ARNT WIDE ENOUGH. ALSO I WOULD GO WITH A 33" TIRE. IT WILL LOOK GREAT.... JOHN76360@CS.COM |

I am almost sure that 16x10's are incompatible unless yo are running over a 6" Lift. None of the lift companies recommend more than 8.5-9" wheel for a 6" Lift.

Hi Brian,
My name is Luke and I have a 2001 Siverado and I had a 3" Body lift to start out with. At first I had 16x8 ultra wheels with 305x70x16 Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires but i wanted wider wheels that hung out. So i sold my 16x8 wheels and ordered 16x10 ultra wheels with the same tires. With the 16x8's, it would have easily cleared a 315x75x16 but with the 10" wide wheels the 305's rubbed a very little only when I had the wheel cut all the way and hit a large bump. I now have added a 6" RCD and 37" SSR's and I love it. It rides and drives just like it did stock. It looks great and gets alot of looks. If you have any ?'s contact me at ramblin_man@hotmail.com
