Hey guys or should I say Rick, right now I am running 30x9.50 tire on my blazer, I was wondering if I could put a 30x 11.50 tire on without any problems. Also I am looking for new wheels and it asks me for the bolt pattern what would that be. |

| If you run the 11.50's you may rub at full turn lock. To correct this, you could use spacers on your lugs. OR, since you are looking at wheels too. You could just get some wheels with a bit less back spacing. This would offset your tires and wheels out of your fender wells a bit, thus decreasing or eliminating the rub. Your bolt pattern should be a standard 5 on 5.5. |

| Yessir they will. But when you go to different wheels, think about an 8 or 9 wide. One thing you DONT want is to have your rim wider than your tire when mounted. It will cause your bead to blow of the seat. What you have now will work fine. Like I said before, you may want to look into some wheel spacers for at least the front, but I would go ahead and do all four corners. |

| That actually depends more on the back spacing of your wheels. For stock wheels, you will probably need at least an inch. You dont want to go too big, or else you risk having issues with breaking studs. Also, be sure your lugs are torqued to the right spec, and re check every now and again. |

The offset of a wheel is the measurement from its hub mounting surface (where the wheel bolts to the axle), to the middle/centerline of the wheel. Backspacing is very similar to offset, but measured a bit differently.
The best definition of backspacing and offset can be seen at: http://www.customtacos.com/tech/index.php?article=40

On your truck, it can run on a bunch of different stuff, depending upon the height and the width. At BEST, it will just rub a bit in the inner (lower front and lower back) fenderwells, which you can trim with a zizz wheel. At worst, it will rub on the frame and steering components, but all of this changes with both width and height. Don't forget, if you go bigger, you REALLY need to get deeper axle gears. Rick |
