| I have a 02 GMC 2500HD 4wd crew. Thinking about retunning for high octane (93). Just wondering if the extra HP or any other functionality the programmer provides is worth the 300 buck. Thanks,

I like the Hypertech. I have seen a 1 mpg improvement on a stock engine (1500HD with 6.0L) and a 2 mpg improvement on an Avalanche with 5.3L. The shift improvement is nice. The ability to change the speedometer to correct for different size tires or gearing is great.
