Has anyone used these Xenon headlights if so are they as bright as they promise to be??? Thanks

Depends on what you mean. If you mean those $10 bulbs from ebay, they suck. They look really bright, but they really put out about 1/2 of what you stock ones do. They are a regular bulb with blue paint on them. So they look ok, but since they are trying to shine through paint, they don't work.

But if you are talking about the $800 conversions, yes they make a difference. But do you want to spend that much to see another 50' down the road?

I have one vehicle with the Sylvania's in them and they work better than the stock, but I have Silverado with the PIAA Superbrights and they are great. Definetly worth the $60. ------------ hanuman30 at 2/15/2003 11:23:31 PM
