| I am getting 285 BFG AT's put on my 2001 reg cab z71 tomorrow. I have the stock 265 wilderness at's now. Does anyone know if the 285's will rub. If so, how bad. During everyday driving or just hard off-road? Thanks in advance! |

I just put 285 wrangler mt/r's on my otherwise stock 2000 gmc sierra ext. cab z71. i cranked the torsion bars a bit for some extra clearance up front, and so far haven't had any rubbing on street driving, haven't had them off road yet, but they don't rub at either full lock, and they look sweet. go for it, if they're gonna rub, it'll only be during off-roading, and even then only minimal.

I have been running 285s on my 99 Silverado for more than a year without a lift. There is no rubbing at all.
