I have a 97 Z71 and im looking to run a 6" suspension lift with 35" mudders. The only problem is i seem to hear a different story about every lift every where i go. Any one who has a 6" suspension lift drop me a line or email me and let me know what you think of yours. Thanks alot. Dustin

I have a 99 silverado 4x4 and just put a 6" fabtech suspension lift and I love it. I am running 35" Mickey T's. I can hardly tell a difference in the ride quality. If you have any questions let me know.

Zim,

Did you change the gear ratio? What gearing do you have? If you're running the stock gears did you notice it being sluggish or shifts funny. I have a 99 Z71 with 35's and was thinking about buying one of those reprogramming kits? Have you heard anything about how good they are.

My ride quality is excellent. The truck actually rides smoother with the Rancho 4in and 35" muds. ------------ Zim at 7/9/2002 1:52:48 PM

Kevin

I am using the stock gears and I do not have any problems. I can tell that it shifts sooner than what it used to, but I was expecting that. On the take off I can hardly tell a difference. As far as the reprogramming kits go, I have not heard anything about them. I probably am not going to mess with that unless I start having problems with my truck shifting. ------------ Kevin at 7/10/2002 11:08:16 AM

Zim,

Thanks for your reply. Can you measure from the ground to the bottom/middle of your front and back fenders. I just want to compare the height of your vehicle to mine. ------------ Zim at 7/11/2002 9:33:28 AM

It is about 3'9" from the ground to the middle of the fenders on all four. ------------ Kevin at 7/11/2002 12:42:35 PM
