| I have a chance to get hold of a 1988 Chev K2500 5.7L V8 that has automatic transmission but a blown engine. The body and interior are in good shape and I was thinking about fixing it up for my 15 year old son to drive when he turns 16. Since I won't be paying anything for the truck, does anyone have any suggestions about engines and/or add ons to make it a cool truck for around 5-6K, or should I pass on the whole project? |
