| Just bought a set of BFG MT KM's (285/75-16)@ Discount Tires...
for my 2WD GMC Sierra w/3" susp lift
They seem ok, look f...........GREAT! Question is Siping?
They Tech @ Discount suggested siping the tires for longer,
even wear if I was going to spend majority of time on road.
He stated also they would be quieter on pavement
and better grabbing on wet driving.
Anyone out there have any feedback
on suggestions made by Discount tire?
Should I sipe Or Not????????????????? |

Definitiley sipe them. They will help out on wet, snowy, and icy ground. Will also help the wear of the tires. I have siped BFG's and SuperSwamper tires on my trucks that are used heavily off road and on road. Improves tread wear. Couldn't tell you about quieting things down, though.
