| I have a 2001 Silverado Z71 and i just put some BF Goodrich 285/75/R16 Mud Terrain tires on, but they look bad b.c i need about 3 inches of lift. I have already cranked up the torsion bars to level out the truck, but i dont know about gettin a suspension lift because i heard that it will not lift it a full 4 inches, since it is a z71. What should i get to get approx a 3 inch lift in the front and back? |

Hey rob, a 4"sups. lift will lift the truck 4" in front and apprx. 2 3/4" in back cause the front is where you need the clearnace anyways. it kinda levels out the truck, and a 3" body lift will lift the whole body 3" off the frame of the truck, so the back end will still sit higher. A body lift is cheaper though. Most people dont like bodylifts cause of the gaps it leaves in the fenderwells. but thats what gap guards are for. I hope this Info. helps you out

| You should ask your local offroad outfitter about Torsion bar keys. They allow you to go 2-3" further than your stock key's. Then add a block in the rear. Afordable and much better than a body lift. |
