| I would like some feedback on a muffler for a Vortec V-6. I am not interested in Flowmaster. I am trying to decide between Borla and Magnaflow. I would like a smooth sounding tone that is not as loud as Flowmaster. Anyone have any experience? Thanks. |

I have a flowmaster muffler on my silverado with a 4.3, I have dual exhaust y'd from the muffler its a 50 series its called a deltaflow muffler its made to keep the cab noise low but and have all the noise fo out the back mine is not loud at all it is relatively quiet compared to most dual exhaust systems

I have a Borla exhaust with an eldibrock tip and is very quiet at idle and not nearly as loud as most dual exuast flow masters I hear on the street

| I have a 1992 with the 305 V8 with a single outlet magnaflow 3in exhaust, and if you are looking for killer sound, go with magnaflow, I put most dual exhausts, some trucks even with bigger engines, to shame. |
