Some of you probably read my first posting regarding this problem and probably most of you say well I never had this problem or have not yet detected any signs. The question is have you actually took the time to test your Trailblazer to replicate this problem (copy of symptomes pasted below)? If you do not use the 4WD option than possibly you will never come accross the problem and never that your truck is defective. If where you reside has cold slushy & wet conditions, I encourage you to switch your 4*4 options to 4WD and test your vehicule. If this is an overall problem on all Trailblazers than something has to be done and reported to GM. I believe in the possibly that this is a bug with all Trailblazers but since we all use the vehicule for different purposes and do not all use the 4WD option, how are we suppose to know. With your cooperation we can eliminate the possibility that all Trailbalzer have bug and that only mine is a lemon. Test drive your Trailblazer in simular conditions as describe below and let me know if your Trailblazer has the same problem. Here is a copy of my first posting:

When I drive my Trailblazer in mode AWD in cold slushy wet conditions, the 4WD yellow service light comes on and stays on and the AWD mode is locked. I cannot switch back to 2HI or 4HI. I have to stop the vehicule, turn off the engine and restart. This is a problem since the day I purchased the Truck (Dec 2002). The following were tentative corrections by my dealer, they changed the 4WD dash switch two times, another visit they retighened all grounds, and my last visit they gave up and changed all 4WD sensors. After all that the problem is still there. Besides my 4WD I have had other problems with the Truck (mirror position recall) that I have been at my dealer once a month since the day I purchased the vehicule. The dealership employees now call me by my name and I do not know most of them. Anyone out there has experience the same symptoms and/or know what needs to be done to correct this problem?

Thank you for taking the time!

I posted my resolution in posting "Trailblazer 4WD service light comes on in AWD mode in cold/slushy/wet conditons" in order to minize duplicate information.

Well the part came in and the problem is fixed. It was very cold this morning and there was no problem switching into 4 wheel drive.

The part that was replaced is # 12471631 Actuator. (F0025 Actuator, front differential locking replace)

Sorry, but I did not get the error codes from the dealer, but this fix did work.

Good luck in getting yours fixed!!

Gary
