I have a 99 Chevy tahoe 4x4 and my steering wheel has a place in it that it is real sloppy. When you are driving on the highway, the steering wheel has a lot of play in it and there is a spot where it has no resistance and it wheel fall a little to teh left. I was wondering if the steering gear box was shot or what it could be. i have noticed that its real bad with the windows down and air conditioning not on. that got me thinking that it might be a vacum problem. if anyone has an idea please let me know.

it's in the colum it self.it happen's to alot of tilt wheel car's truck's.you have to take your colum apart to fix this there is 3 or 4 torqes head's in there you have to retighten.then reasemble the colum and your all set.if it look's like it's to much take it to a shop and let them fix it.

Hay!! Can you get your dad's dozer? wwwwwwhaaaaaat??
