I have a 98 Z71 with a 5 spd manual trans and 350 engine. When you are driving and want to stop when you push the clutch in the engine will not return to idle until you come to almost a complete stop. When the A/C is on the problem is much worse. You can get the truck up to about 1500 rpms in 1st gear take your foot off the throttle and drive it for blocks and the throttle will not come down. The dealers say this is normal because of emissions, but does anyone have a suggestion or fix for this?

Thanks
