| ok I got to thinking at work about the geomatry of the 4 link in the front.with the movement up/down this would change the wheel base from longer to shorter.now if I'm right!! this would give the truck
massive over steer.or (bump steer)so to fix this problem with the hydro assit set up.I could just pull the pitman arm/tie rod leanks
to steering arm. put the ram assit on the axel custom (bracket) to a bracket on the drag link(tierod)with heim joint's on ram.set the box as you would for the hydro assit steering.now I know this will not help the steering like it would with the stock steering setup+hydro assit....,but it would be the same as the 4 turn rotation as the factory steering box setup.or even mount the ram to the factory stabalizer bracket's with bracket's beefed up.now the steering probably will be like the factory setup with turnning. over working the stock steering pump,(fix) custom pump! not sure witch pump yet!
now! with the movement of the suspesion there would be no bump steer.now!(suspesion only)now on the rock's or mud hole's there would.how bad? not sure!!! but willing to find out the hard way i guess. If this does work chalk one up for me because I just let the cat out of the bag[%>o][%>o][%>o] what was i thinking!!!! |
