Hey guys i know you covered this topic before but i really need some help my 4wd is not working when i push the button I can hear something clicking under the truck but it does not go into 4wd but the 4wd light comes on for like 4hi or 4lo. Can you go into detail what i need to replace and were it is located on the truck. and also what the parts are called thanks for all your help.

Put the blazer on jack stand all the way around. Start it shift into 4wd do the front wheels move? If no check the vacume acuator under the batterie box. If it is split replace it. If it looks good, with out the moter running pull the vacume line off and blow into it. See if you hear air leaking some where. Mine was rubbing on the top of the moter toware the fire wall in the back. I spliced the vacume line and all was good.

P.S. I also used a hard cable for a while to pull the acuator but it kept coming lose so I fixed the vacume leak and put it back to stock.
