Is the only difference between a 208 T Case from a 400 and a 700R4 is the Input Spline? If I use the input shft from the 700 will it fit in the 400 T case.? Thanks

It should. The next concern would be bolt pattern on Tcase where tranny bolts to it.

The only problem with any adapter is over all length. It may not be a issue here (length) but you need to be aware of it when you use most adapters.

Not if the bolt pattern is the same. I am just not sure about that but my gut feeling is that it is different.
