| Okay the first thing to do here is to reset TCCM (Transfer Case Control Module) You do this by pulling the fuse and leaving it out for several minutes and then replacing it. This clears its memory of operation and position and loads new data. Sometimes this will fix it. |

| ok ill try that..i left it out for the night and it changed nothing..but maybe it was too long.i alsow replaced the relay and all 3 fuses..if their is no change what sould i go to next??? i really need help |

| Switch would be next choice as they are known to fail. If that fails then actuator. A dealer can scan for codes on it as they are not readable with normal OBD2 scanners. One last tip, if you wind up changing actuator, pull fuse when doing it because you should reset TCCM with a actuator change. |

| yeah, my dads '00 seirra did that, just blinked...I hear its a known problem. I got him a new switch and works fine, check ebay, or gmpartsdirect.com, or ckresto.com. or even pricegrabber.com.... dealer was priced crazy, check it out.... |

It usually is on those vehicles. The vast majority of the time, it's electrical, and not mechanical (meaning a transfer case problem).

Well it kinda is a Tcase problem when encoder/actuator is bad. |

My we are short today. Your skin is too thin sometimes. The actuator is more or less part of Tcase. |

| hey man just had the same problem get your blazer off the ground beside the trasfercase theres a little motor that switches it that and the vacum line on the intake manafould check both of them they both where bad on mine good luck dude |
