Welcome to the boards Roy!
I'll poke around and see what I can find. Give me a day or two to dig into it.

Roy - I have calls into a few guys I know at GM, but nothing yet. This isn't something that is normally published in manufacturer tech specs (like ground clearance, etc.).
I looked at a few factory service manuals for years preceding yoru truck, but they aren't published there as well (again, not something that would need to be published for service reasons).
I called two other people that I know that are Chevy experts, but they don't know either. I think you'll need to just measure it yourself to get that figure.

Seems like it, Rick. Thanks a lot anyway, for the effort. Appreciate it very much![:)]
I've tried to get the info from GM here in Norway, but no chance.
Kinda strange actually. Given the difference in track width, it woud really help to know, when trying to get rims and/or spacers that is wide enough to even out the difference....
Thanks

Yeah... I was able to find information on track width from other manufacturers, but not the Detroit 3. Very strange.
If I get a call back in the next day or two, I'll be sure to drop an answer on here for you.

Am I reading your signature correct - Gas is REALLY $9 USD per gallon!?!?
Not to pry but how do you afford to feed a full sized truck there? Is it your daily driver? |

that sounds about right. It's several dollars per litre in Europe, so doing the math, that sounds about right. Fuel prices have always been substantially higher in most other countries.

Yup, you're reading correct, and as Rick says, it's quite costly over here, although we pump our own oil in the North Sea....
Given that one gallon is about 3.8 litre(isn't that correct??) and one litre cost 2.37 US Dollars, that should sum up to about 9.00 USD.
And yes, it is going to be my daily driver. I'm driving a Mercedes V-Class now, from about 2001, but it actually uses a little bit more diesel than my Suburban....
A Hotdog with 0.5 litre Coke from the local gas station cost about 10 US Dollars...
It ain't cheap to live in Norway.[B)]
Looking forward to hearing more from you Rick!![:)]

I remember when I was in the military (in the early 90's) seeing gas prices around $2.00 at the gas pumps. I said to my buddy (who had been stationed in Germany for several years), "man... this is really expensive! It's like twice as expensive as back in the states!".
My buddy said "uhhh... yeah. Well, multiply that prive times 4, and that's how much it is a gallon". Needless to say, I had always appreciated how cheap we had gas and diesel after that. [)]
Hey Roy - send some pictures of your area. I've never been to Norway. I've been in several other countries, but never Norway. I hear it's quite beautiful.
