Can you give us a year, cab/bed combo(ie: ext cab/longbed). Is it 3/4 or 1 ton. And have you done any mods at all to its suspension? You may have another problem not related to the torsion bars also.

Thanks for your reply, this is an 07 ext cab 6'bed 2500 6.6l Diesel. This is how I got it from the Factory. It's unstable on the road. At first I got out thinking it was a flat. The alignment is pulling to the left after serveral adjustments at the dealer. They seem to think it's my imagination. I traded an F350 Dually with rancho shocks and springs, big mistake, big difference.

Hmm, personally this is the first time I have heard of this issue. I am wondering if maybe you should try to go to another dealership and have it assessed. Just so you can get a second opinion. The IFS from Chevy is far different in a few ways than a leaf sprung truck. Especially if you have never driven one (not to say that you havent). That is what I would recomend. Or, go to the nearest alignment shop and tell them what you are experiencing. They would specialize in that kind of thing, so maybe they know something the (scum bag money hungry) dealership doesnt, lol.

I've put about 60,000 miles on my 2006 Chevy 2500 HD Silverado that is the identical twin of what you have. I've never experienced any issues like that, nor have I ever heard of any issues like that.

Definately head to another dealership. Take the guys for a drive WITH YOU! Even if you have to schedule the drive in advance, be sure the technician rides with you. Then let him drive it as well, so that they can experience the issue.

Something is awry with your truck (obviously) and it honestly doesn't make any sense at all. Torsion bars wouldn't cause a lean like that, especially a lean that shifts at different speeds. I won't say that it is impossible, but any lean that you might possibly get (extremely and highly doubtful though), would be seen in the rear, when you load up the gas under a heavy load - since that's where all of the torque is transferred to.

Anyhow, that's my .02 cents.

Thanks again for responding. Seems this truck is going down the hwy on an angle. I have lemoned the thing since I have been to the dealer 4x and the alignment has been out each time. It has certainly been an uncomfortable ride since day one. I have an upcoming arbitration with GM so any opinion would help. My final repair attempt was simply a write up, hand shake and out the door without even bringing the truck back in the shop. This is the new style front end, I had the 06 Chevy and it was different, a pleasure.

Deffinately dont let this experience ruin your opinion about GM. It sounds like more of a dealership negligence problem than anything. Sounds like they are trying to worm their way out of fixing something. Which dealerships are notorious for. They dont make alot off of warranty work if ya catch my drift.
