Ok.....I am giving in. Time to buy a brand spanking new truck. After all, I make a living with it. But I am a chevy man, and of course, having my head stuck in toilets, haven't been following mainstream things as I should. Soooooo, the old style chevy is no longer available, huh? Just this new looking truck that looks morelike a car then a truck. I HATE THE WAY OT LOOKS. Fender flares?????? YUCK. I want a truck, not a balloon. Anyway, cant seem to find a 2007 classic style anywhere, new that is. So.....anyone out there can tell me if I am better off with the old style versus the new style?

Well.......really interested in mileage. My truck has 85. So looking for pretty low mileage. Simply put, I dont want to have to put ANY MONEY into, or have to buy another truck for many, many moons.

BTW, just looked at the new SILVERADO at the dealer. MAN oh MAN. They have this gigantic cut out above the wheels you could drive a another truck thru. Its ugly. Small ass tires. Big ass cut-out. Looks like crap to me. Course.....doesn't everything.....

Now THAT was funny! :)
I agree with the new look. The one's before that weren't much better for that matter.

Its sad when you add the cost of a solid axle swap into a brand new truck....thats what I did. And you know what I found out? 30-40 thousand dollars can build one HELL of a NICE 73-91 Crew Cab V3500. Check out this guys rig on my local site.... http://alaska4x4network.com/showthread.php?t=32782 This dude brought an old North Slope truck back from the dead. Make sure to compare the first pic to the bottom one. That is the way I am going to go. No new rig for me.
