ok, im wanting to get some more power without going broke. I was thinking a brute force cold air intake, a throttle body spacer, a mass air flow sensor, and to top it all off, a set of performance headers. how much hp will i get from these mods. by the way, i already have 2 glasspaks for exhaust. also, how will these help my mpgs. and one more thing, can yall suggest some brands to me, im looking for GOOD brands that arent ridiculously priced.
Thanks! |

| ok so here are some ruff estiments cold air maybe 10 horses if lucky headers should be good for about 20 throttle body spacer maybe 5 mass air flow may be 5 also so. so lets do the math about 40 and that is the max probably only 30 sorry and it all depends what the weather is like aldo to help with power a chilly fall night will give 10 more horses somtime with that dense air. go with k&n and headers get some pacesetters and make sure they are ceramic coated you are looking for at least 5/16 flange width anything less and you will do through header gaskets like you go through toilet paper the night after eating at a mexican restuarant

hahahahahaha!!! man...thats sad but true. i got some flowtech headers (they were cheap, and i needed some) but i already had to replace my gaskets once. so i second that thought! |

I third that thought! I have custom-made ceramic coated headers with a 3/4" thick flange. I've been running these headers for 7 years and have only replaced the gaskets once, and that was because I put a new engine in my rig!
