| someone told me they make a 5 inch lift for a 96 chevy silverado. does anyone know..? |

If this is a 4wd, IFS truck, you can get a 6in Trailmaster or ProComp and crank the torsion bars down and get a 5in lift with a soft ride.
Otherwise, I believe they are 4in or 6in. Unless you find a combo, like a 3in suspension and 2in body lift.
