I have a '89 Chevy 4.3L S10 pickup, Tahoe 4x4 package. I just noticed when I turn off the engine, I hear what sounds like a clunk or something in the engine. This noise occurs about 1-2 seconds after the engine is off. Nothing abnormal while driving the truck, except that I sometimes hear this noise when I stop at a red light, or stop sign. But it's really noticable after I turn the engine off. It's not very loud, but noticable. The truck has 80k miles and has been taken care of.
Any suggestions?

Have you checked your timing and spark plugs, dist cap and rotor. just things that you might want to look at. good luck
