I have a 2004 Chevy Suburban Z71. After running the a/c, I find that the padding under the factor rug (ie between the metal floor and rug) gets sopping wet. I've had the car since it was new and its never been hit. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Hi John - The A/C itself isn't leaking it's likley condensation accumulating in a bad place. If the A/C was leaking, it would convert from a liquid form to a gas form.

Most A/C systms are wrapped with a thermal wrap to lessen the amount of condensation, so you may want to check to see if you need to add some to this.

also - since it's an '04, you can take this to the dealership and have them fix it under warranty.

This sounds to me more like a pluged drain line for evaperator condensation than any thing else because the key word here is "sopping wet"
