| Hello everyone, i have a 1998 chevy blazer and i was wondering what kind of diffs i have or what kind of 4x4 it is. I ask because last winter i got stuck in my driveway and i don't think the 4wd was working or is it just a cheap setup on the truck. |

It has a 7.5 inch rear axle and a 7.2 inch IFS front axle. The actuator on front axle can be troblesome at time and 4x4 will not work without it as it is independant from Tcase fuction. |

Never one up front from factory and if it has a G80 code in glovebox option codes it has a limited slip diff. No GM truck have a option of a true locker, they may call it a GovLoc nut it is really just a clutch based LSD unit. |
