Hello everyone, i have a 1998 chevy blazer and i was wondering what kind of diffs i have or what kind of 4x4 it is. I ask because last winter i got stuck in my driveway and i don't think the 4wd was working or is it just a cheap setup on the truck.

It has a 7.5 inch rear axle and a 7.2 inch IFS front axle. The actuator on front axle can be troblesome at time and 4x4 will not work without it as it is independant from Tcase fuction.

Never one up front from factory and if it has a G80 code in glovebox option codes it has a limited slip diff. No GM truck have a option of a true locker, they may call it a GovLoc nut it is really just a clutch based LSD unit.
