| I have a 1997 C/71 and the other day when i was driving it the tack and speedo started to go crazy and now they don't work plus it will only take off in second gear. Any help would be great. Thanks |

Hi SPX - your speedo, tach and transmission are all electronically controlled. It sounds like you need to check to make sure your wiring is intact. Have you made any changes recently (e.g. add a stereo, add aftermarket lights, etc.)?

| No the check engine light came on so I'll see what it says. I'm hopping it is a sensor or something easy like that. THANKS. |

My first guess is either the speed sensor in Tcase near rear drive shaft or the wiring to it. |
