| i was wondering if anyone knew what the biggest size tires i could put on a 2004 gmc sierra. i recently put new leaf springs on that raised the truck about 1 to 2 inches. |

| the torqution bars were turned up to level the truck off. i have 245/75/16 on it now, i wanted to put 285/75/16 on. the tire dealer told me that they might not fit (they would rub on the front end). i wanted to make sure that they would before i bought them. |

First off, I would like to say this. It is bad practice to turn up your tortion bars. But if you are going to, get new shocks. But it is better to just get new "keys". I am sure Webby will agree with me on that.
With that said. One to two inches, doesnt really give you all that much more room than stock. If you go up one or two inches, then your tire size can probably go up one or two. But that really depends on the the truck.
Your GMC will probably fit the equivelant of a 32" tire. But it is the width that will kill you. Keep with something under 11 inches wide, and you will most likely be ok.
