I just did an obd2 reading and got these codes. p0753-- shift solenoid a electrical p0740-- torque converter clutch circuit malfunction

Yea, that is pretty self explainitory now (as to what is really malfunctioning). Did this rebuild come with a warranty of any kind? It should have, at least a small one. And, can you do any work by yourself? If you can, You can probably do both of those parts yourself. Otherwise, I think the guy who did your tranny should be thinking of how is going to do a better job this time for free.

Sounds like you have a electrical grounding issue more than a tranny problem. The 4L60 is a electronically controlled tranny. The rebuild may not have been needed.

Well the guy that rebuilt it said the front pump was bad. Were would this ground be at?

I would start by checking grounds in dash area on connections on control wires to tranny. Also, the ECM powers the lock up clutch so check ground and connections in ECM area. Also, as a foot note, usually when a front pump goes bad they get noisy first and usually it is because tranny has been over heated too.

Possibly on the lockup function as it switches actually power for it last I looked into it.

The ignition switch?!?! Now that's a first. Was it due to grounding issues with the switch?
