| Looking now ( bet you thought this site caters only to me ) at a Chevy cargo express. I knew the 4x4 was long ago not available, but I see that they do offer in a 1500 cargo van this all wheel drive, full time, senses wheel slippage it throws torque to the front. If I get a locking rear axle, which is an option, just how good is this all wheel drive compared to 4wheel? For the little 4 wheeling I do, I am wondering if the AWD can handle it woth a rear locking diff? |

proabably not, since AWD vehicles typically don't have a transfer case with a selectable low-range option. It would be like taking a Subaru to a 4x4 course. :)
Although... you could get those funky port-hole or heart-shaped windows in the back, carpet the whole thing and put a water bed in the back... now that would be classy!
