| I was wondering if anyone had the Hypertech Max Energy hooked up in their truck. I was thinking about getting it for the better gas miledge and for the speedometer recalibration. I can get it for $320 and was wondering if it wa worth it. |

we've reviewed and tested several of Hypertech's product over the last few years, here at 4X4REVIEW. Overall, they've worked incredibly well, so you certainly get a thumbs-up from me. Although, I don't have first-hand experience with the Max Energy installed on a 5.3 L engine.

| I just bought one and am having a hard time playing with it. The max tire height on it is 34" and i have 37's on my truck. I want to get the best fuel i can get and was wondering if i should go with the Max E-Con. Also i was wondering if anyone knew what i should set the shift points at because of my bigger tires with stock gearing... |

I don't know what the shift points should be off hand, but I have dealt with their customer service and they were REALLLLY good. Prompt answering, knowledgable, helpful... all the stuff you should hope for each time you need some help. Accordingly, you might want to give them a call.
