| What is the biggest tire that I can put on a '94 Z-71 with a 3-inch body lift? |

dude if the rim size is right you can fit 35s with a little rubbing, they are going to rub a little (on full turns), but they fit. ive seen 35's on quite a few where i live, of course they got their torsion bars cranked a little and they say it rubs a little, but it looks real nice.
but, 33's fit no rubbing and they still look great. i have 33's on my 97. look great. i would recommend 33's |

| You probably couldn't put 35's with only a body lift. I had a 3" body lift on my 1999 z71 and i had 33's on a 16x10 wheel and they rubbed. To clear 35's most people go with a 6" suspension lift or the 4" Rancho Suspension Lift |

| i really think it depends on the rim. i have 33's on my 97 z71 (with 3 in body) on a 10 inch rim and they rub on the bumper whenever i turn while running over a curb or something, but the tires i had on there before were actually slightly taller than my 33's i have now (and they were on there before i put on my body lift). and they never rubbed, no matter what. i have seen 35" maxxis buckshot mudders on a 96 z71 extended cab on stock rim (with 3 in body). owner says they rub on full turns, but there on there (and look good!) |

| if the 99 was the new body style then that explains why they rub but i would defiantly go with 33s. |

| Only if you did a 3 inch suspension lift in conjunction with a 3 inch body lift. Then you would be able to fit 35s. Basic rule of thumb is this: 33= 4inches of lift total, 35s= 6inches of lift total, 38s= 8inches of lift total, 40s=about 10 inches of lift total. All of those numbers are without cutting your fenders. Cut your fenders, and gain tons more room. Obviously you arent looking to do that. So stick with the rules of thumb for lifting. Just my advice. |
