John, There's a number of good air compressors that will mount under the hood of your vehicle. Here are a few seperated by the power source:

12 Volt Power:
  • ExtremeAir Air Compressor - http://4by4connection.com/exsev12volai.html ( 3/4 horsepower fan cooled motor, 60 amp draw at full load, 4 cfm flow rate, 150 psi max working pressure, Continuous duty cycle compressor, High flow air filter, etc.) - you can get an entire kit with various sized tanks, or you can run wihtout a tank.
  • ARB Air Compressor - http://www.stagewest4x4.com/store2/store/comersus_advancedSearchExec.asp?idCategory=0&idSupplier=8&priceUntil=99999&priceFrom=0&keyWord=air+compressor&Submit=Search+& (Similar features as above) - Stage West can put together a kit for you as well.
  • Sun Performance - http://www.sunperformance.com/ (There are 3 different types of air compressors they offer, plus install kits.
  • OnBoard Air.com - http://www.onboardair.com/ - they sell both electric and engine driven air systems. Just about all you need.

Belt driven air compressors:
  • OnBoard Air.com - http://www.onboardair.com/ - they sell both electric and engine driven air systems. Just about all you need.

Do it yourself, engine driven:
  • York A/C - http://www.4wdlinks.com/harryworld/york.html - The York kit is the most common because of its small size and large output.

Hope this helps.

Rick
