I bought MY 98 jeep grand cherokee about 8 months ago used My problem started when i decided to go out one night and when i tried to turn off the aftermarket alarm it would not work. so i got in the jeep and it was going off. i reached down to the cut off switch but that wouldnt work. so i basicly had to go under the dash and remove all of the alarm system componants. i thought that would solve the problem but after all that the alarm still goes off so it leads me to balive that the alarm that was in there was tied into the factory alarm controlling it but the thing is i cant find any controll units under the dash for the factory alarm. if anyone can help me figure out a way to turn off the factory alarm i would apriciate it.
