| Since no one replied to my last question, I guess I'll try again. My XJ is an 85 model with the 2.8 V6 and auto tranny. I need to know what kind of tranny I've got and which ones I can just bolt in. Can I buy a used one out of another vehicle, or does it have to be out of a Jeep with the same motor and t-case? The one I've got is slipping badly and I don't have the time to let it sit for 3 or 4 days while someone else fixes it. I need the quickest, simplest, cheapest fix I can get. All help is greatly appreciated. |
