Okay, I hate to be redundant... but I do have a few questions before I go and put a lift on my 98 GC-Laredo 4x4/4.0.... I've already put on Wrangler AT/S 31x10.50's, and they're not rubbing horribly (though they do wobble between 45-55, and I've had them balanced... suggestions?), I would like to put on a small lift, just to make sure they don't rub. I've gone to Quadratec and JC Whitney's websites, both of which weren't too helpful. I read an earlier post that someone had gotten a 3" lift for $104??? I couldn't find this to save my life... just a 1-3/4" spacer kit for $198... what is the difference? what else should I concern myself with replacing because of the extra wear & tear caused by the bigger tires? help!!! :-) thanks.

You could go with a lift where you puts the front springs on your gc to the back then go to a junck yard and find a jeep with a up country lift (this is a factory lift that is only 1 inch taller tham stock) and only get the front springs and 2 inch spacers(which are about $41 a pair at http://www.rocky-road.com) this will give you about a 3 inch lift. If you cant under stand E-MAIL me at taylp@bellsouth.net ------------ alexwrath at 12/31/2002 12:00:40 AM
