| I have 2 94 GC's and both have the "rear light malfunction" light on , on the screen on the dash but on both, all lights work fine. What's up . |

| you need to make sure its the recomended bulb.if its not the exact one needed it will do that till you get so annoyed you will unplug the service monitor

I had the same problem, I replaced the bulbs with dealer bulbs and it was corrected. Some light bulbs will do that for some reason |

I had the same problem and found that one of the 2 upper stop lights was blown and one of the tag lights was also blown. Seems that my assistant didn't notice it and just said that all of the lights were OK. Bought new ones from AutoZone and I replaced them. The warnings stopped. I'm told that you must use the correct bulb or you'll still get the warnings.
