i am familiar with lowering a transfer case on a 4 wheel drive to eliminate driveline vibration after lifting

is it possible to lower the tranny in the same manner on a 2 wheel drive after lift

i have a 2wheel drive cherokee with approx 4 1/2 inches on the rear and experienced drive line vibration

the transmission sprung a leak and blew, and the dealership attributed it to the lift

i have 1 1/2" add aleafs and three inch blocks w/o taper

can i lower the tranny

please reply

thanks
