I've got this tapping noise in the gear shift box when the Jeep is sitting idle. The dealer told me the noise was coming from the emmissions control thing under the hood! (Those were almost exact words)But, it's not. I thought it might be the exhaust system but it checks out. So, what is the noise? Any ideas or similar situations?
